Situated just outside Caleta de Fuste
lies Costa de Antigua - a much quieter area for
people seeking a really relaxing holiday.
The villa is a lovely self contained unit boasting all
mod cons including washing machine, fridge freezer and
television.
Torres del Castillo, popular
complex with 2 nice swimming pools and large surrounding sun
terrace, about 10 miles from the airport.The complex is
situated in a nice quiet location but only 1km away from the
busy town centre with its shops, bars and restaurants. It is
linked by a promenade along the sea side which is a nice 20
minute walk. Alternatively there is a free courtesy bus
running from opposite the complex, as detailed. |

| The complex is only 1500 meters from the golden sandy beach
of Caleta de Fuste which lies in a horse-shoe bay and is
very busy with shops, bars and restaurants to suit all
pockets and tastes. There is a promenade linking the complex
to Caleta de Fuste which is a very nice 20 minute walk along
the seaside, alternatively you may take a taxi for a few
euros or there is also a free courtesy bus which operates
from across the complex, at Castillo de Elba Hotel and
leaves every hour, on the hour, from 10am to 1pm and from
4pm to 9pm. It has 3 stops, shopping centre, including
bowling alley, golf course and centre of Caleta de Fuste.
The island has a lot to offer, you can visit the oceanarium
at the harbour, catch a catamaran, go swimming with the
dolphins, go windsurfing or scuba diving. The islands 18
hole golf course and driving range is just a 10 minute taxi
ride from the apartment or you can catch the free courtesy
bus!
There is also ten pin bowling, crazy golf, tennis, cycling,
camel riding on the beach and quad bike hire.
Alternatively, within the complex there is also a rent a car
available so you can explore the island at your own time and
leisure. |

Here at Nuevo Horizonte you will find a few bars providing
entertainment, some restaurants offering Italian, Chinese,
British and pub-grub style food and a few mini markets. An
area much more laid back and quieter than its neighbouring
town.
A 25 minute walk along the scenic coastal path following the
rocks will take you the 0.7 kms into Caleta town centre or
you can take the cheap taxi service (about 3 Euros) or the
bus - there is even a free service to take you to the
beaches and shops, boutiques, restaurants and supermarket of
the Atlantico shopping centre.
There are a few hotels in Nuevo Horizonte offering
entertainment and Kavanaghs bar where there is nightly
entertainment. But Costa de Antigua is more of a residential
area - a place where you can really relax in quiet calm.
The international airport is less than ten minutes drive
away and the island�s first golf course a few minutes drive
(with others planned in the area in the very near future).
There is a beautiful cliff-top walk that links the resort to
Caleta De Fuste, and with plans to develop the land between
the resorts with a range of villas, the future of the area
is becoming more and more desirable as time goes by� |
